PASS-THRU-REV=EXPWarning (W)
Pass-through revenue doesn't equal the pass-through expenditure
CDE's wordingPass-through revenues from all sources (objects 8287, 8587, and 8697) should equal transfers of pass-through revenues to other agencies (objects 7211 through 7213, plus 7299 for resources 3327 and 3328), by resource.
Warning. CDE accepts it with an explanation entered in the TRC explanations.
What it means
Pass-through revenue doesn't equal the pass-through expenditure
Money received for other agencies (objects 8287 federal, 8587 state, 8697 local) should equal what was passed on (objects 7211-7213, plus 7299 for resources 3327 and 3328), by resource.
Why it fires
The usual causes
- The disbursement to member districts coded to 5800 or another expenditure object instead of 7211-7213
- A timing difference between receipt and disbursement
How to fix it
The repair
- Recode the disbursement to the transfers-to-other-agencies objects for the resource.
- Explain a timing difference.
